The block-and-tackle system is used to transport metal structures and electrical equipment to overhead line support structures, as well as to tension wires during installation.
It consists of two triple-sheave blocks. One block is additionally equipped with a cam stopper to fix the rope after reaching the required tension. This stopper also acts as a brake to prevent the load from lowering spontaneously.
