The mast is designed for temporarily fixing and supporting wires during live-line work. Ensures controlled raising/lowering operation with positive wire retention in the clamp. It is used when replacing insulators, and metal structures.
The mast is constructed from fibreglass material in accordance with GOST 28259-89.
