Cutting pliers are used for cutting wires and conductors, cutting individual components of cables, and making small cuts in metal and plastic during the installation/removal of equipment. Cutting pliers are designed to cut wires with a small diameter. End cutting pliers, unlike side cutters, have jaws that are perpendicular to the plane of the handles.
